A new park is set to open within Orana in July, adding even more green space within the community.

1. Banjo Park Banjo Park is a local favourite, with water play, swings, climbing structures and a half basketball court. There’s something there for kids at every age.
2. Oaks Park Two of the biggest slides you’ll find anywhere in Melbourne’s south-east. If your kids love a slide, this one’s a must.
3. Highgrove Outlook Park More than your average local park, Highgrove Outlook park has a giant slide alongside a full-sized basketball court and tennis court. Ideal for families with older kids.
4. Portobello Blvd Playground A favourite for active kids, with a parkour obstacle course, tennis court, basketball court and a giant slide all in one spot.
5. Clydevale Park Spread over 1.2 hectares, Clydevale Park has something for everyone – a nature-inspired playground, basketball court, gym equipment, BBQ and picnic area, and a sandpit with hidden dinosaur fossils for little explorers.
6. Clyde Creek Trail A flat, paved shared pathway perfect for walkers, runners and young cyclists. The main loop around the Clyde Creek Wetlands covers around 2.7km, is dog-friendly and makes for an easy, scenic family outing.
7. Cranbourne Botanic Gardens A short drive from Orana, but well worth it. Set across 363 hectares of bushland with the award-winning Australian Garden at its heart, it’s one of the best outdoor experiences in Melbourne’s south-east.
