Floribunda is an extraordinary collaboration between Bunjil Place and the National Gallery of Victoria, curated by the talented David Sequeira. The name, Floribunda, Latin for many-flowering is a hybrid of ‘flower’ and ‘abundance’, which beautifully captures the essence of this immersive experience.

This larger-than-life exhibition is a blend of floral imagery, design and motif that celebrate the beauty and symbolism of flowers. From still-life paintings to couture adorned with floral patterns, Floribunda explores the significance of flowers across cultures, histories, and art forms. With everything from Decorative Arts, Fashion and Textiles, Painting, to First Nations and Pacific Art, this exhibition reimagines the relationship between nature and creativity in the most enchanting way.
