We’re calling all renters and homeowners at Orana. This competition is about celebrating street pride and beautiful, sustainable streetscapes across the estate – helping protect your biggest investment, your home.

Along the way, you’ll pick up gardening tips and be part of something that makes the whole community feel more like home. All you have to do is take part, have fun, and keep your front garden looking its best.

Judging Criteria
  • Visual appeal: how well the garden looks overall, including design, colour coordination, and tidiness, with no rubbish, hoses, tools, or other items left in or around the front garden
  • Plant health and maintenance: trees and plantings intact and thriving, well-kept flower beds, shrubs, and lawns, and mulch topped up in garden beds where visible
  • Nature strip presentation: grass on the nature strip green and mown
  • Creativity and point of difference: originality, artistic expression, and features that set the garden apart will be commended
  • Sustainability and low maintenance: use of eco-friendly practices, water-wise design, and plant selection that is hardy and low maintenance
  • Integration with home: how well the garden and landscaping complement the house and enhance overall street appeal, consistent with Orana's Design Guidelines
