March 2025 Construction Update
The Orana team is pleased to provide you with an update on construction for March. It’s been a busy and productive month on-site, and we’re excited to share the latest progress with you.
CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
Stage 20
Stage 20 is nearing completion, with water reticulation officially finished and footpaths almost complete.
Once all work is finalised, the team will conduct a thorough cleanup to ensure the site is ready for a Statement of Compliance by the end of April. We expect titles to be issued in May, as planned.
Stage 21
Stage 21 is progressing smoothly. Drainage works are complete, and water reticulation is well underway. This work also involves the completion of trunk water infrastructure on behalf of South East Water.
Practical completion, Statement of Compliance and Title Registration all remain scheduled for Q3 2025.
Riverland Road
Great news – this month, our construction team has completed all works, with practical completion now issued by Council. We are also pleased to advise that Statement of Compliance has also been achieved.
The achievement of these milestones has enabled us to progress with the formal registration of the Local Town Centre title on behalf of Coles. This remains on track to occur by May 2025.
We’re thrilled with this progress and are getting closer to the realisation of the Orana Town Centre!
LANDSCAPING CONSTRUCTION
On the landscaping front, we are pleased to share that landscaping around the perimeter of the Stage 13A townhome site has now been completed.
In Stage 24 we are completing important soil amelioration works to enable the commencement of planting, prior to the estimated completion date of April 2025.
Stage 25 and Stage 26 are closely following behind this work, with both stages scheduled to be fully planted and complete by Mid-2025. These streetscape improvements will dramatically enhance this area of the project – it’s going to look fantastic!
HEATHER GROVE CONNECTION
Regarding the important Heather Grove connection (which will assist with access to Topirum Primary School), Balcon is nearing completion on the required road and service infrastructure within our Stage 20 boundary.
Despite this, we are now waiting on the adjacent estate to complete the missing link outside of the Orana project. We have been advised that this work is scheduled to commence by the adjacent developer late this year.
We are continuing to actively advocate for the faster delivery of this important link as well as all other important road connections in the area.
NEXT COMMUNITY PARK
Lastly, the design concepts for the next park at the corner of Ochre St & Mellow Pl are progressing well. It’s an exciting development, and we can’t wait to present our proposal to Council soon.
Depending on the Council review process, our construction commencement target remains on track for Mid-2025.
