May 2025 Construction Update
We’re excited to bring you the latest Orana Construction Update for May.
Momentum continues to build across the community, with major milestones achieved and plenty of activity on the ground.
From streetscapes nearing completion to progress on key infrastructure and preparations for the Orana Town Centre, there’s a lot happening.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
Stage 20
We’re pleased to announce that works in Stage 20 are now 100% complete and titles have been registered. We are looking forward to welcoming these residents to the Orana community!
Stage 21
Strong progress continues in Stage 21. Electrical and communications installations are nearly complete, and footpath and asphalt works are well underway. We’re currently targeting August 2025 for title registration.
Riverland Road
All road works to enable commencement of the Orana Town Centre are now complete, and the title has officially registered and transferred to Coles.
Riverland Road is complete but will remain closed to the public whilst construction of the Orana Town Centre is underway.
⚠️ Important Notice: Pattersons Road & Watercolour Boulevard Intersection
From mid-June to mid-December 2025, a major road upgrade will take place to the Pattersons Road and Watercolour Boulevard intersection.
🚧 Key Change:
As required by the City of Casey, the intersection at Watercolour Boulevard and Pattersons Road will change to a left-in, left-out configuration. Right turns in and out from this intersection will no longer be permitted.
Traffic management will remain in place throughout, and while all roads will stay open, minor delays are expected. We appreciate your patience and ask all residents to plan ahead and travel with care during this important upgrade.
Watercolour Boulevard & Heather Grove Connection
Whilst the ability to turn right from Watercolour Boulevard onto Pattersons Road will no longer be permitted, we are pleased to inform our residents that we have been successful in our discussions and advocacy for a northern exit from Orana via Heather Grove.
In consultation with the City of Casey and the neighbouring developer, this important road link will commence construction in August 2025 and is due to be complete by the end of 2025.
LANDSCAPING CONSTRUCTION
Stage 25 Streetscapes
All landscape works are now 100% complete, with a Practical Completion inspection scheduled with Council for Tuesday, 3rd June 2025.
Stage 26 Streetscapes
We are pleased to advise that all soil improvement and tree planting works are now complete. The next few weeks will involve final garden bed and turf works with practical completion targeted for mid/late June 2025.
We’re proud of the progress being made and can’t wait to see Orana continue to grow into a vibrant, connected community.
