August has been a milestone month at Orana, with two moments we’ve been building towards for a long time now landing almost side by side.

The first is one we’re especially proud of. On 29 August, Wildbloom Park in Stage 22 officially opened its gates to the community. Every element of the landscape build is now complete! 

Wildbloom is more than a playground. It’s a place for families to spend a Saturday morning, for kids to burn off some energy, and for neighbours to cross paths and become friends. Seeing it come to life has been a genuine highlight, and early on it’s clear the community has taken to it. We hope it becomes one of those spots that quietly stitches itself into everyday life at Orana.

The second is just around the corner. Orana Village Town Centre is nearing completion, and the Coles construction programme is in its final stretch ahead of an 11 September opening. Our landscaping of the surrounding public spaces is coming to a close in step with it. Nature strips are 90% complete, with the remaining works scheduled for the week of 7 September. Having a full-line supermarket and huge range of retailers on the doorstep is a significant moment for the estate, and the streetscapes framing it are being finished to match.

Elsewhere across the estate, progress continues at a steady pace:

Stage 23 and Stage 24A streetscapes both reached Practical Completion on 27 August, with all landscape works finished on site. Stage 21 streetscapes commenced construction in late July and are anticipated to reach Practical Completion in September.

On the construction front, Stage 27 keeps pushing forward through the wetter months. Earthworks, sewer and subgrade works are complete, conduits and drainage are approaching full completion, and watermains installation has commenced, with kerbing to follow in mid-September. Stage 27 remains on track with titles expected in Q1 2027.

It’s been a big month, and there’s plenty more still to come.
