Orana May 2026 Construction and Landscaping Update
May has delivered solid progress across the Orana community, with significant milestones reached in both construction and landscaping works. Below is a detailed overview of where each stage currently stands.

Construction
Stage 23 construction
All in-ground works have been completed, and the project team has now moved on to above-ground works, including concrete, roadways, and topsoil. While recent rain events have presented some delays, the team is actively working to mitigate any impact on the schedule. Compliance is anticipated in the final two weeks of June 2026, with titles to follow in July 2026.
Stage 27 construction
The Stage 27 contract has been formally awarded, and the appointed contractor has commenced works on site. Earthworks are now complete, sewer installation is progressing well, and minor sections of drainage and roadworks have also been finalised. Full compliance is currently targeted for mid-December 2026.
Landscaping & Streetscapes
Streetscape Works
Streetscape construction is now underway across multiple stages, with the following progress to report:
- Stage 21 — Construction is scheduled to commence in May 2026, running concurrently with Stage 23 streetscape works. Practical completion is anticipated in June or July 2026. Bollards have been installed, with chains to be added once garden beds are in place.
- Stage 22 — Practical completion of both the streetscape and Greenlink was awarded on 5 May 2026.
- Stage 23 — Construction is scheduled to commence in May 2026, with practical completion anticipated in June or July 2026.
Stage 22 Park
Construction of the Stage 22 park has progressed considerably this month, with completion now anticipated by the end of July. Passers by will notice great progress as the park comes to life. The Playground equipment is almost completely installed, with the pathways, boulders, shelters and seating well progressed. The final stages of the park’s build will involve fencing, completion of the multicourt, planting of garden beds and turf as well as installation of the bollards along Mellow Place and Ochre Way.
Orana Village Town Centre Streetscape Works
Streetscape works around the town centre are progressing well, tree installation and turfing around the Town Centre has commenced, with the garden bed planting set to begin in early June. Orana Village is set to open this Spring, and we can’t wait to open the doors to this incredible new piece of amenity for our residents and the broader Clyde North Community.
