Stage 27

Earthworks, subgrade, sewer and drainage works are now complete in Stage 27, and water infrastructure is well underway. Construction of the concrete laneways and footpaths begins next week, with kerb and electrical works following close behind.

Stage 27 remains on track for Council Statement of Compliance by the end of 2026, with title registration expected in early Q1 2027.

Melbourne Water Wetland

A major milestone has also been reached with the successful commencement of construction of the large Melbourne Water wetland south of Pattersons Road.

The wetland will form an important piece of Orana’s broader drainage and environmental infrastructure, while also contributing to the growing network of open space and natural landscape features throughout the community.
Construction is now underway, marking another significant step forward in the delivery of this important piece of infrastructure.

Landscaping and Streetscapes

The Stage 21 streetscapes are continuing to take shape. Soil preparation is nearly complete, around half of the street trees are now in the ground, and planting has commenced. Practical Completion is expected by the end of October 2026.

In Stage 23, all landscape works are now complete, with Practical Completion achieved in August 2026. Around Orana Village, all landscape works have now been constructed, just in time for the opening of Orana Village Shopping Centre.A small number of remaining naturestrips south of Pattersons Road will be installed during the maintenance period, once builders have completed their works.

With construction progressing across multiple areas of the community, Orana continues to evolve each month, with new infrastructure, streetscapes and open spaces bringing the masterplanned community closer to completion.
