As the year comes to a close, what a better way to reflect than to take a trip down memory lane and look back on all the things that our Orana community has accomplished together! Here are some of the many highlights which have made 2022 an amazing and fulfilling year.

Display Village Grand Opening & Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision house auction – 

We celebrated the official opening of our brand-new Display Village, and the Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision house auction raised $750,000! Over 2,500 people came to the event, with visitors meeting their future neighbours, getting to know the area, and getting a glimpse of life at Orana. It was a glorious day!

Our first park was complete –

Orana Park truly is one of a kind. Not only does it feature the latest, state-of-the-art play equipment, but is also home to incredible sculptural elements. Creativity is at the core of Orana and features in all parts of community life – including our wonderful park. A special experience is a promise for the entire family with every visit!

Homes for Homes $100k milestone – 

Balcon Group’s ongoing partnership with Homes for Homes aims to alleviate homelessness and support residents of Casey and Melbourne. This year we have raised $100,000 to assist Homes for Homes to create more social and affordable housing in Victoria. 

MyOrana & Orana Community Place – 

We introduced Charlotte & MyOrana – a dedicated space for everything news, events, culture & community, exclusive to Orana’s residents. We also completed the Orana Community Place building, which will officially be launched early 2023 so watch this space!

We Are Orana – 

We launched ‘We Are Orana’, an ongoing campaign to celebrate our residents and highlight their stories. We are proud of our diverse community and the wonderful residents who call Orana home.

Archibald Prize 2022 – 

Balcon Group was proud and excited to be the official Program Partner for the Archibald Prize 2022. The Archibald Prize represents Australia’s oldest and most prestigious art award and was shown exclusively in Victoria at Bunjil Place.

Our park won award for best park in City of Casey design Excellence Awards – 

Our dedication to creating a healthy, happy and sustainable community paid off with this incredible industry recognition. Balcon Group is both proud and privileged to be able to deliver award-worthy work for our incredible community.

5 stages and 263 lots delivered in a year! – 

We’ve been busy on all fronts, but construction – building our beautiful community – is our #1 priority, and let’s say we have been hard-working in that space! Over the last 12 months, we have delivered over 5 stages and 263 lots. We also launched our first townhome projects: Porter Davis, which is almost complete, and ABN (Boutique & Homebuyers) which is currently for sale.
