We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that Humble Merchant Café will be opening next month at the Orana Community Hub!

The Humble Merchant Café will be a real gem within our community. A place to meet, gather and enjoy delicious coffee and food within the neighbourhood!

Balcon recognise the importance of offering amenities as early as possible within new developments, enhancing lifestyle for residents, and creating opportunity for connections within new communities.

We are most excited about welcoming our very valuable new addition to the Orana community.. Allison, the proud owner and operator of Humble Merchant. Allison has a big heart and passion for all things community, her values for high quality products and partnering with local suppliers, such as Blanc Bakery in Berwick and Bermuda Coffee in Pakenham, align with our values here at Orana.

We were also enthused by her creative energy and sincere desire to create a unique offering in a new neighbourhood. Allison’s vision for Humble Merchant was “A coffee and snack hub for those needing a little pick me up on their way to the park with the kids, out on a daily walk or a quick stop on the way into work.”

She also intends to offer some great gift and homeware additions in the near future. On the menu is four types of toasties, fresh salad rolls, grab and go drinks, snacks and, most importantly, coffee!

We asked her why she wanted to come to Orana and open this space for our community; “I have a passion for meeting new people and hearing everyone’s stories. I love to cook for my family and friends- food and good coffee really are the key to my heart. Humble Merchant brings my love of food, coffee, homewares and community all under one roof. I can’t wait to meet you all, serve you your caffeine hits and hear your stories.”
